Description

Indenture of Lease. (1) Sir Thomas Cornewell, Knight of King's Body, and (2) Sir William Say kt. Cornewell, by indenture, 21 June 19 Henry VII, leased to Say, third part of manor of Lawrence Eyott, co. Hertf., reserving advowson of parish church, and to have the office of wardship and bailiwick, 16 years, £9-13-4 p.a.. Lease for further 2 years paying £17-13-4 for the 2 years. Signature : Thomas Cornewaylle.
