Description

Indenture of Agreement. (1) Lord Henry Percye, son and heir apparent of Lord Henry Percye, Earl of Northumberland, and (2) John Cowplande, citizen and merchant tailor of London. For £100, if Percye, during the life time of his father, take a wife, he shall within 20 days after the marriage make an estate to John Cowplande, Jane, his wife, and William, their son, of lands etc. of clear yearly value of £10, or after the death of his father, within a quarter of a year, of £20. Seal, signature : John Cowpland.
