Indenture of Sale. (1) Edward, Duke of Somerset, and (2) John, Earl of Warwick, Viscount Lysle, K.G., and Great Master of King's Household. Duke for £1,000 sell manors of Banburye, Cropredye, Wardington, Cotes, Greate Burton and Little Burton, co. Oxf., borough, castle and hundred of Banburye and messuages etc. in Banburye, Cropridie, Essenden, Wardington, Coton, otherwise Cotes, Great Bourton, and Little Bourton, co. Oxf except farm of Hardwike in manor of Banburye, and messuages in Hardewike, Nethroppe and Calthroppe. Tag. Signature : E. Somerset.
