Sir Richard Maners kt. and Henry Rygby gent., executors of Thomas, late Earl of Rutland, father of Henry, was indebted to King in £264-5-7 due to Court of Augmentations and Court of Wards and Liveries ; to Court of Augmentations for goods, chattels, lead and bells of late monastery of Warter, Yorkshire, £600 ; for purchase of late Priory of Newstede, £100 ; for purchase of the Egle, £289-10-0 ; for arrears of tenth of the Egle for 2 years, £6-7-0 ; for arrears of farm of site of late Priory of St. James the Apostle in Warter, and site of late Hospital of St. Giles in Beverley, same county, £269-10-3 ; for arrears of the farm of house and site of late monastery of Croxton, Leicestershire, and manors thereto belonging, £273-4-3 ; for arrears of house and site of late monastery of Garroden, Leicestershire, £228-3-10 ; for arrears of fee farm of manor of Muston, Leicestershire, and manors of late monasteries of Nonne Eton, Belle Draxe, Lyllyshull, Kyrkeham and Ryvaulx, £25-17-4 ; arrears of a yearly rent for messuage etc. in Wysbye, p. of Dodyngton, Lincolnshire, 3s.; for arrears of farm of site and demesnes of Commandery of the Egle, £8-8-11 ; for arrears of land in Wysby, 30s. ; for arrears of yearly rent of 3s. 10d. from lands in Stonesbye and Bramston, 7s. 8d. ; money owing by late Earl of Rutland to the late Abbey of Thorneton, Lincolnshire, £40 ,1 money borrowed by late Earl from Henry VIII, £300, amounting to £2,143-2-3, by decree of Court of Augmentations, 6 September 36 Henry VIII, of which sum since paid £500, so there remains£i,643-2-3. To Court of Survey, for money borrowed of Henry VIII, £100. In Court of Wards and Liveries of arrears of farms of lands etc. in nonage of Henry, now Earl of Rutland, £404-3-4. Sale to King of lands etc., in Stamford, Lincolnshire, in Ketton and Casterton Rutland, and in Wymondham and Humberstone, Leicester Stapleford, Growby, Rathy and Ievestoke, otherwise Swinfen, Leicestershire, and in Upwell and Owtwell, co. Norf Elme and Elmyth, Cambridgeshire, and in Selbrydge, Yorkshire manors etc. in Bolton in Glendale, co. Northumberland, lands etc. in Berrington, Goswicke, otherwise Gonsocike, Holy Iland, Burton, Ballesden and Norham. Northumberland, in Edall, Ederslaw, Howtell, Kylham and Homeldon, Northumberland.
