Description

Indenture to Uses. (1) Nicholas Vaux kt., and (2) Dame Anne Cheyne, widow of Sir Thomas Cheyne kt., Francis Hasylden esq., James Stevenson, clerk, and Henry Wykeley gent., executors of Will of Sir Thomas Cheyne. By indenture, 6 May 3 Henry VIII (see no. 89 above) and indenture, 14 February 7 Henry VIII, between Sir Nicholas and Dame Anne Cheyne, on jointure of Elizabeth, agreed that Sir Nicholas shall make, before Nativity of St. John the Baptist next, to Sir Thomas Parre, Sir William Sandys, Sir giles Alyngton, Sir Henry Guylford, Sir William Parre, Sir Richard Knyghtley kts., John Fortescue, Nicholas Woodell, Francis Haseldon, Richard Knyghtley esqs., Richard Humfrey and Henry Wykeley gents., an estate of manors of Moche Harowdon, and Lytyll Harowdon, Wylby and Horpolle, co. Northants., and lands in Moche Harowdon, and Lytyll Harowdon, Wylby and Horpolle, Dodyngton, Barton Comitis and Wellyngborough, co. Northsnts. ; also manor of Shanketon and Herdewyk, co. Leics., with exceptions, in trust. 2 seals, 4 tags, signatures : Anne Cheyne, Francis Hasylton, James Stevyns, Henry Wykeley.
