Grant by John Adams, prebendary of the prebend of the Sacrist in the Collegiate Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Southwell, co. Notts., to Henry VIII, of his prebend and all manors etc. Dated in Chapter House of Southwell. Attached is the confirmation of the Chapter of Southwell, same date, with signatures : Edward Bassett, John Brandishe, Geoffrey Downes, Richard Deane, John Adams. The whole has seals of the Chapter and of John Adams and the signature of John Adams. Also acknowledgment taken with signatures : N. Bacon, William Bollys, William Cowper. Endorsement of enrolment on dorse of Close Roll.
