Indenture of Sale. (1) John, Earl of Warwich, K.G., Grand Master of King's Household, and (2) Sir John Yorke kt., and Anne, his wife. Sale of manors of Whitbye, Laverpoole, Whitbye Lathes, Stanesey, Carre and Hawskarth, co. Yorks., late monastery of Whitbye dissolved, site and circuit of late monastery of Whitbye and houses etc. within the site, close of land etc. in p. of Whitbye, site of manor of Staxby in Staxby and Whitbye, messuage and close of land in Stowperowe, messuage etc. called Springhill and Wragby in Wragbye, close of land nigh More Gate Lees, 5 a., 3 closes of land called Knoll, Horse Close and Warrell Close, 15 a., wind mill called Riswarpemill in Whitbye, close of land called Intacke in Eshedalside in Whitbye, fishing in water of Eske, site etc. of manor of Fylyng, close called Orcheyards Garthes, close of pasture called Fylinffield, close called Bonnell, 2 closes called More Close, 2 little tenenents called Parkeyate, 2 pastures called Myddle Woode Felds, close called Lambe feld, close called the Horse Close, common of pasture upon the commons called Blackamore in Fyling, grange called Fyling Grange, water mill called Fyling Mill. 2 seals.
