Description

Notarial Instrument in which John de Dutton, Official of the Archdeacon of Cestr' in the Collegiate Church of St. John Cestr', Robert de Preston, monk of Vale Royal, proctor of the Abbot and Convent of that house, inspects and recites papal letters as follows (1) of Innocent IV, dated at the Lateran, 12 Kal. March 1 Innocent IV (1244) ; (2) of Alexander IV, dated at Anagni, 5 Kal. November 1 Alexander IV (1255) ; (3) dated at Viterbo, 3 Non. November 3 Alexander IV (1257) ; (4) dated at Viterbo, 3 Non. June 4 Alexander IV (1258). Dated in Collegiate Church of Chester. Cord.
