Grant by Richard Broke, Serjeant at Law, John Pakyngton gent., and William Hope, son and heir of James Hope, to Richard, Bishop of Wyncgester, Robert Rede, Bartholomew Westby, John Moore, Richard Stephyns, and Richard Falowfeld, of the interest the grantors have in 2 marshes called Hollysmershe and Dykesmersh, otherwise Dylysmersshe, p. of Cheslett, co. Kent, which William Hope had of the demise of Richard, Bishop of Wynchesrer, Robert Rede kt., Chief Justice of Common Pleas, Bartholomew Westby, Second Baron of Exchequer, John Moore, Serjeant at Law, Edward Stephyns gent., Thomas Carter, citizen and draper of London, Thomas Stow, of London, tallow chandler, and Richard Falowfeld, which William Hope, by his writing, 23 December 3 Henry VIII, granted to Richard Broke and John Pakington, for money paid and for the performance of his last Will. After payment of debts to use of William Tynbegh, Prior of the Charterhouse nigh London, William Hope to dispose of 20s. p.a. during his life, the 20s. to be paid by Richard, Bishop of Winchester, and the others, to Thomas Nevill esq, John Batmanson LL.D. and Christopher Seynt Germyn. Signatures of Richard Broke, John Pakyngton and William Hope. Attached a scgedule of the debts owed by William Hope.
