Description

Notarial Instrument on the creation of a perpetual vicarage in the church of Lancaster, on behalf of Joan North, Abbess of Syon, in whose gift the Priory or Church of Lancaster, and the church of Pulton, in the Archdeaconry of Richmond, by Henry Bowet, Archdeacon of Richmond, in the church of York, by the grant of William, Bishop of London, at his Palace, 9 February 1430/1, and sealed by the Official of Canterbury.
