Indenture of Agreement, by John Bostoke, of Churton, co. Chester, gent., with Awen Brereton, of Tussyncham, co. Chester, gent., for a marriage to be solemnized before Assumption next, between Robert Bostoke, son and heir apparent of John Bostoke, and Elyn Brereton, daughter of Awen Brereton. If Elyn dies before, Robert to marry Kateryn Brereton, another daughter of Awen, or any other daughter of his. If Robert dies before, then another son and heir apparent to marry the daughter. John Bostoke to make sufficient title to messuages, etc. in hamlets of Churton, Aldeford, Farnedon, Caldecote, Shoklege, Grafton, Crue, Pulford, Calveleye, in city of Chester, in co. Chester or co. Salop, or elsewhere in realm of England and Wales, to yearly value of £3. Awen to pay 6s. 8d. p.a. during life of Margaret, now wife of Ranulph Dod, of Brereton, mother of John Bostoke.
