Chester, now or late in tenure of Ales Tenche, widow, and of Edmunde Tenche, her son; rent 13s. 4d. p.a.; the premises having been leased by Edward, Earl of Derby, by indenture, 18 February 27 Henry VIII, to William Bromley, dec., father of William Bromley, as a house etc. called Derfolde, then in tenure of William Bromley, the father, in parishes of Acton and Namptwiche, co. Chester, for 60 years after death of Anne, Countess of Derby, mother of late Earl.
