Description (What the record is about)

Collection of indexes and documents, some of which appear to relate to the earlier debtors' act of 21 Geo III. A number of the indexes are to unidentifiable books and of uncertain date. There are two public notices regarding the act among the papers. Those books which do identify themselves as indexes to discharge or commitment books may refer to existing books. The collection also includes the rough notes of whoever made up the lists of prisoners for the purposes of the act.
