Notebook containing a series of jottings and reminders by the prison marshal. The notes record the business of the day which the prison marshal undertook or planned to undertake. They include details of discharges to be made, warrants to be seen to and other prison business. His notes were crossed out, perhaps after being executed or after transcription of relevant documents into the records.
