Admiral Vernon's discourse with the Admiralty, April 1746 (endorsed). Being copies of letters and of Admiral Vernon's examination before the Board of Admiralty, in reference to the authorship of two pamphlets entitled, a Specimen of Naked Truth from a British Sailor, and, Some Seasonable Advice from an Honest Sailor. The King directed their Lordships to strike Vernon's name out of the list of flag officers
