Description

Original Letters Patent, revoking Letters Patent of June 26th 1751, which appointed Robert, Earl of Holdernesse, one of the Principal Secretaries of State, and appointing John, Earl of Bute, one of the Principal Secretaries of State, with an annuity of 100l. Recorded in the offices of the Clerk of the Pells and the Auditor of the Receipt of the Exchequer, and at the Treasury Chambers [The Great Seal [of George II], brown wax, broken, on plaited pink and white cords]
