Description

De Doctrina Christiana by John Milton in three parts, 735 numbered pages, 380ff. The fourth part consists of a statement by Robert Lemon of the discovery of the document in 1823. ff. 381-404.

Note
Thought to be in the hands of Deborah Milton and Milton's secretary Phillips. For a history and a critical analysis of the document see, inter alia, `Milton's De Doctrina Christiana' by A.J.T. Eisehring, Fribourg, 1946.
