Maps to scale: 4 inches to 1 mile, with enlarged areas to scale: 3 inches to 1000 feet; longitudinal sections to scale: 4 inches to 1 mile (horizontal), 1 inch to 100 feet (vertical); cross-sections to scale: 3 inches to 1000 feet (horizontal), 1 inch to 40 feet (vertical).
