'Plan of the Great [Western Railway,] Bristol Division': the western sheet only of a map and section (on two sheets) of the line from Denchworth, Berkshire (now in Oxfordshire) via Bristol to Bridgwater, Somerset, and from Swindon, Wiltshire, via Gloucester to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, including the branch line to Cirencester; also showing other railways. Scale: 1 inch to 3 miles (horizontal); 1 inch to 250 feet [1:3,000] (vertical). Reduced from Ordnance Survey mapping and drawn by G Alfred Jermyn; engraved by Richard Palmer; published by the Great Western Railway Company, 1 December 1838. The Great Western Railway lines are highlighted in coloured ink. A label of the Great Western Railway Central Records Office, affixed to the map, is annotated 'with Plan 113'. RAIL 1030/14 is a copy of the eastern half of this map.
