'[Plan of the Great] Western Railway, London Division': the eastern sheet only of a map and section (on two sheets) of the line between London Paddington and Steventon, Berkshire (now in Oxfordshire), also showing other railways (including some not marked on RAIL 1030/13); distances measured from Paddington Canal Bridge. Scale: 1 inch to 3 miles (horizontal); 1 inch to 250 feet [1:3,000] (vertical). Reduced from Ordnance Survey mapping and drawn by G Alfred Jermyn; engraved by Richard Palmer; published by the Great Western Railway Company, June 1838. [This map appears to have been revised after 1838 since it shows some lines and stations that did not exist in 1838.] The Great Western Railway line is highlighted in coloured ink. RAIL 1030/15 and RAIL 1030/16 are copies of the western half of this map.
