'Sketch of the Country showing the Line of the Intended Grand Junction Railway 1833': map showing the proposed railway line between Birmingham and Warrington; also showing other railways and canals. Scale: 1 inch to 2 miles. Compass indicator. Lithographed by R Martin, 124 High Holborn. Label on the case states: 'First map of the intended Grand Junction Railway'. A loose note filed with the map states: 'from the collection of W.H. Williams, late Traffic Dept., Edge Hill and Lime Street, L.N.W.R. [London and North Western Railway] 1869-1916'.
