Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series sheets Glamorgan XLII, XLIII, XLVI, XLVII, L and LI, joined to form a map of the area between Peterston-super-Ely, Cardiff and Lavernock Point. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. All of the marginalia (includes details of survey, date, etc) have been trimmed away. Coloured manuscript additions show proposed works in the Barry Docks & Railway Company's Bill in the Parliamentary Session of 1885; these works include a railway from the Taff Vale line at Cogan Pill near Cardiff to Barry and from St Fagan to Barry, and extensive dock and associated works near Barry. Stamp of the Great Western Railway, Central Records Office on the dorse.
