POSTERS: Anti-rumour and careless talk: 'Zip it! Careless talk costs lives' (soldier's mouth, with hand pulling zip-fastener across mouth). Artist: Radcliffe. Media/Technique: Watercolour / poster paint / gouache with graphite pencil underdrawing, on artboard. Face area of image is a cut out and has been stuck down onto artboard. The text has been painted directly onto the board and there are pencil lines visible. Gouache pigment starting to flake where thick.Other media/information: Protection sheet over artwork.
