Letters from 'offices' (Government departments and other organisations) and from individuals on matters relating to British Guiana. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

  • Admiralty (HMS Eclipse and case of deserters);
  • Crown Agents (salary of E H Walker, Archdeacon Jones, Reverend J H May, Mr Grant and A A Burrowes, payment to R H R Hill, pension to Thomas Fennell);
  • Council Office (passing of Act);
  • Board of Trade (patented inventions);
  • India Office (treatment of Indian immigrants);
  • Treasury (guarantee of loans, passage allowance to Mr Eyre, bronze coins);
