Certificate by Walter de Kileby, Piers Belassise and Piers de Thornton, Mayor and Constables of the staple of Lincoln, that among all the wools sent from the staple by the port of Boston tot he staples of Middelburg, Bruges and Calais, or elsewhere beyond seas since the staple has been established at Lincoln in the year 20 Edw. III, they know of no manner of packing except in the sarpler of 1 1/2 sacks or more, sometimes amounting to 1 3/4 to 2 sacks. (Lincoln)
