- See also DEL 11/8, 9, 11; 10 folios DEL 11/7-10 were compiled within the Principal Probate Registry from three sources: the list of DEL 1/1-736 made at the time these records were transferred to the Public Record Office; Return of all appeals in causes of doctrine or discipline made to the High Court of Delegates from its erection by the 25 Hen 8, c 19, AD 1533, until its abolition by the 2 & 3 Will 4, c 92, AD 1832 (Sessional Papers, House of Commons, 1867-1868, 199); and the documents themselves in DEL 9 and DEL 10. Other records of the High Court of Delegates transferred to the Public Record Office from 1863, and now in DEL 1 - DEL 8, do not appear to have been used in the compilation of DEL 11/7-10. It is possible that F W X Fincham, who rose to become superintendent of the Literary Search Department of the Principal Probate Registry, may have had some responsibility for the compilation of DEL 11/7-10.
