It also found that the dean of Lincoln is the patron and that Roger de Rolueston' presented Nicholas of Ashbourne, who held the rectory for thirty years and more, whereupon William de Thorniaco, then dean of Lincoln, held it to his own uses by the grace of Alexander, then bishop of Lincoln, and he presented Walter de Kayham, chaplain, to the vicarage. Thereafter, Roger de Weseham, dean of Lincoln, presented John de Bretham, chaplain, who held it until death, paying 50 m. to the dean and 30 m. to Walter de Kayham in the name of a simple benefice.
