Notification by Nicholas Duffield, bishop of Dunkeld, of his receipt of papal letters of Pope Boniface [IX], dated 5 May 1396 to Walter Cook, canon of Lincoln, concerning the consecration of the chapel of Knowle [in Hampton-in-Arden] in the diocese of Lichfield (Warwickshire), and the bishop's certificate of consecration. Witnesses: Thomas, rector of the parish church of Baddesley, William Bakun, John de Pakwod, John de Blakenhale, William Bulkere, Richard Brenn, priests, Robert Campionum, Robert Fraunkeleyn, Richard Kipley, John Sueyn, Richard Lyne, Roger Salmon, John Mason, Robert Mason, Thomas Swayn, Hugh Kipley, Thomas Aldeley, Richard Barker, Henry Corveser, etc.
