Description

Fifteenth-century copy of a notarial instrument, drawn up in the presence of Master Wiliam de Horwode and Thomas Bedford, concerning the tithes of Exning (Suffolk), appropriated by the abbot and convent of Battle (Sussex), and the churuch of St Andrew, Burwell (Cambridgeshire) with the chapel of Landwath' [Landwade, Cambridgeshire], appropriated by the abbot and convent of Fordham (Cambridgeshire), of the fee of Sir Robert de Hastings, following the metropolitan visitation.
