Description

Valuation of the tithes of grain pertaining to the rectory of Eye (Suffolk).

1. Order from Richard Riche to Mr [Thomas] Mildemay, one of the auditors of the Augmentations, concerning the mitigation for Nicholas Cutler of the annual rent or farm of the parsonage of Eye (Suffolk), that he should go to Eye and make a valuation.

2. Inquisition taken before John Eyer and Thomas Mildemay, 12 November 35 Henry VIII, by William Hering, Robert Busby, John Medewe, John Whitingham, Augustine Seman, Robert London, William Thrower, Edward Terolde, John Throwketill, Thomas Smythe, Humphrey Knewett, Thomas Jenour, Nicholas Dix, Thomas Barker. The tithes of grain of the rectory of Eye are valued per annum at 20 marks.
