Description

Depositions taken before Master Robert Northlod, clerk of John, prior of St. Bartholomew by Smithfield, London, commissary of John [Buckingham], bishop of Lincoln, in the presence of Ralph Gardyner, clerk of the diocese of London, public notary, in the parish church of St. Peter, St. Albans (Hertfordshire), concerning the tithes, fruits, renders and other issues of the churches of Edlesborough (Buckinghamshire) and North Mymms (Hertfordshire).

Deponents are:

  • Sir William Waddesle, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Pullokhull' [Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire], in the diocese of Lincoln';
  • Sir John Veysy, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Totesnowe, in the diocese of Lincoln;
  • Thomas Bellok;
  • Richard Puttenham;
  • Sir William Salaman, rector of the parish church of Shenle [Shenley, Hertfordshire], in the diocese of Lincoln;
  • Sir John Rycheman, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Southmymmes [South Mimms, Middlesex], in the diocese of Lincoln.
