Certification by Maurice, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Paincastle (Paygnescastiell') in the diocese of St. David's (Radnorshire), to William [Courtenay], archbishop of Canterbury, that he has granted Geoffrey Mareschall', chaplain, possession of the vacant prebend of Roylle (unidentified) in the collegiate church of Abergwyly [Abergwili, Carmarthenshire], into which he has been inducted, admitted and invested at the presentation of King Richard II, patron by virtue of the vacancy in the see of St. David's, as per a command of 10 May 1389, ordering him to grant possession to Mareschall or Philip ab Ieaun, perpetual vicar of the parish church of Wolaston, his proctor. [Sealed by the dean of Ross.]
