Warrant to Richard Layton and John London, doctors, Robert Cotton, John Freman and John Wysman to take the surrenders of Thornton abbey (Lincolnshire), Spalding priory (Lincolnshire), Heynings (or Knaith) priory (Lincolnshire), Crowland abbey (Linconlshire), Torksey priory (Lincolnshire), Kyme priory (Lincolnshire), the monastery at Grimsby (probably Wellow, Lincolnshire), Orford priory (Lincolnshire), Nun Cotham priory (Lincolnshire) and Stixwould priory (Lincolnshire), 'as they be neither used to the honour of god nor to the benifit of our common weale.'
