Index to registers of Bonby and Stamford (Lincolnshire), prepared for John Luscote, prior of the Charterhouse, London.

  • 1. Charter of the king who first gave the Charterhouse, London, the churches of Bonby with Stamford;
  • 2. Decree of St Hugh concerning the churches of Bonby and Saxby, and ordinance for the vicarage of Bonby;
  • 3. Institution of St Hugh in the church of Saxby, with the reservation of the pension of 13s. 4d. to the prior of St Fromund (cant. St Jean-de-Daye, arrond. St Lo, Manche, France);
  • 4. Institution of St Hugh to the church of St John, Stamford, with reservation of the pension of 13s. to the same prior;
  • 5. Letters dimissory to the official of the archbishop in his visitation of Bonby;

  • Among the Recorda of the Exchequer in the Pipe Roll of Trinity term, 4 Henry IV in Item Lincoln, at which time the king gave the Charterhouse the church of Bonby.
