Formal receipt by the Knights Hospitaller of the possessions and goods of the Knights Templar. Quittance from any actions or suit arising from this grant made by Pope Clement V.
Notarial exemplification of the letters patent of Albert de Nigro Castro, grand preceptor and lieutenant of the Grand Master, Fulk de Villaret, and convent of the Order of Knights of St John of Jerusalem, and visitor-general of the court of western Europe, under the seals of Philip de Gragnatia, prior of the hospital of St John of Jerusalem at Rome, and Leonard de Tibertis, prior of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem at Venice and proctor-general of the Order of St John, by which the Hospitallers acknowledged receipt of the possessions and goods of the Knights Templar, with the consent of Edward II, king of England, and at the command of Pope Clement V, and renounced all suits and actions that might arise on account of any grants made of such lands, goods and possessions.
