Legal opinions on the wording of key clauses in the Act of 1 Richard II as to whether the general removal of aliens from England allowed the king to suppress alien priories and take their possessions into his hands. Rehearsal of acts of resumption by kings pursuant to this act up to the reign of Henry VII, including the endowment by Edward IV of Eton College with alien priories, i.e. Deerhurst (Gloucestershire) and Goldcliff (Monmouthshire), and other related grants to the provosts of Eton and Cambridge (1461).
