Export Services was a branch of the General Division, and was responsible for providing information about overseas markets and advising industrial organisations and individual firms on the opportunities for, and methods of exporting their goods.
In 1970 the Export Services Branch was absorbed into a new General Export Services Division and was re-named the Export Services Division soon after its formation.
