The files relate to a range of standard weights and measures issues including legislation; the application of legislation; testing and inspection and metrication as well as new local administration.
The file series prefix was ST but became STD whilst retaining the same numeric series and structure. It would appear that in some instances a 'D' was added to the series prefix when a file was retrieved from the registry.
