Description

Bill papers, assembled by the successive departmental libraries, relating to bills for which the Board of Trade, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Trade and the Department of Prices and Consumer Protection were responsible.

They consist of bound volumes containing draft bills, notes on clauses, briefs, representations, and annotated copies of Hansard. Most date from 1955 but there are a few from the 1920s onwards.
