Factice atlas in volume containing firstly `Les glorieuses conquêtes de Louis le Grand, ou recueil des plans et vues des places assiégées, et celles où se sont données des batailles' by D de Beaulieu, as small views 10.5 cm x 15 cm mounted mainly 6 to a page 13.5 cm x 18.5 cm. Also contains maps from de Beaulieu's set of town plans of the Duchy of Lorraine. Original spine for this map collection is mounted inside new binding applied in 1981. MS index lists maps and plans of places now in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Italy. Two manuscript index maps dated 1921 signed `E.W.S'. A second set of maps follows those by de Beaulieu, by Coronelli and his studio, some apparently from Coronelli's Atlante Veneto. These include maps of Constantinople, Crete, Messina, the Gulf of Venice, Sea of Dalmatia, the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro.
