Austria, Germany, Italy: 'General Carte vom Herzogthum [Duchy of] Salzburg ...' . Factice atlas comprising seven maps by the Austrian General Staff. Based on a 'Special Carte' of same territories in the Austrian Quarter Master General's Department. The War Office Map Library docket books attribute a date range of 1806-1810. For a similar atlas in the Foreign Office Map Library [exact reference now lost] the FO 925 index in the map room at The National Archives attributes to them the dates 1831-1846. Both editions are undated; they may be the editions of [1825] and [1840] listed in the British Library Catalogue. Dimensions: maps folded in atlas 63 cm x 47 cm. Detailed descriptions are given at item level.
