United States of America: New York, Vermont: 'A Chorographical Map of the Province of New York in North America, divided into Counties, Manors, Patents and Townships; Exhibiting likewise all the private Grants of Land made and located in that Province'. Map in three sheets. Decorative border. Dedicated to Major General William Tryon, Governor of New York. Scale: 1 inch to about 5.25 miles. Compass star. Compiled from actual surveys by Claude Joseph Sauthier, Esquire. Engraved and published by William Faden 1 January 1779. Folded in a case with the label of the Quarter Master General's Department.
