United States of America: 'A Map of South Carolina and a part of Georgia ...'. In four sheets. Scale: 1 inch to 5 miles. Three copies: (1) lacking the sheet containing the cartouche; (3) fully coloured; (1) and (2) only boundaries coloured. By William de Brahm, Surveyor General of South Carolina and one of the Surveyors of Georgia. Engraved by Thomas Jefferys. Published according to Act of Parliament by T Jefferys, 20 October 1757. This map is another version of the map at CO 700 Carolina/19, republished, with considerable additions from the surveys made and collected by John Stuart, HM Superintendent of Indian Affairs. By William Faden, Geographer to the King, 1780. Folded in a case with the label of the Quartermaster General's Department.
