Scale: 1:4,854. Compass roses. Topographical features and outer soundings chiefly taken from survey by Captains Graves and Spratt, Royal Navy, 1852-60. Surveyed by Staff Commander John Millard, Royal Navy, 1878-81. Additions by Commander Dawson and officers of HMS Sylvia, 1887. Engraved by Edward Weller. Published at the Admiralty, 31 December 1888. Compass variation 1894. Corrections 1894-1899. (2) 'Malta - St. Lazarus Bastion Proposed revision for 1-6" B.L. [Breach Loading] Mark VII Gun'. Top plan, ground plan, plan of ammunition store and sections. Scale: top plan: 1 inch to 15 feet; others: 1 inch to 10 feet. Compass indicator. Initialled by C M G, 20 January 1902. Dimensions: (1) 94 cm x 66 cm; (2) 73 cm x 65 cm.
