Description

Malta: San Pietro. Three plans: 'Malta. Record plan. Position finding station, No. 7 San Pietro'. (1) Site plans, with plan and sections of caretaker's and operator's quarters. Table of construction details. Scale: site plans: 2 inches to 40 feet and 2 inches to 1 mile; plans and sections: 1 inch to 8 feet. Compass star on site plan. Surveyed, measured and drawn by Superintendent J S Barnfather, Royal Engineers, 30 June 1896. Examined by Lieutenant C N North, Royal Engineers, 24 July 1896. (2) 'Fire Commander's Cell No. 1 Central Section'. Top plan, sections and elevations. Scale: plan: 1 inch to 8 feet; others: 3/8 inch to1 foot. Compass indicator on top plan. Drawn from measurement by Barnfather, 9 December 1896. Examined by Captain [D] H Colnaghi, Royal Engineers, 18 December 1896. (3) 'Details of Nos. 1, 2 and 3, Cells'. Top plan, plan, outline sections, sections and back elevation. Table of range-finding instruments. Scale: top plan: 1 inch to 10 feet; outline sections: 1 inch to 5 feet; others: 1 inch to 2 feet. Compass star on top plan. Measured, levelled and drawn by Barnfather, 1 April 1897. Checked by Captain W G Lawrie, Royal Engineers, 19 April 1897. All signed by Lieutenant Colonel J Cameron, Commanding Royal Engineer, and Colonel Elliott Wood, Commanding Royal Engineer. Dimensions: all sheets 102 cm x 67 cm.
