Malta: Bengemma Fort. Eight sheets of record plans and drawings: (1) 'Fort Bengemma. General plan of fort and surrounding country'. Scale: 1:2,500. Compass indicator. Copied by Superintendent W D Northcott, Royal Engineers. Signed by Colonel T A L Murray, Commanding Royal Engineer, 10 June 1880. Additions to the Nadur Tower 1894 and 1895. (2) 'Plan Shewing Tank, Flanking Galleries, Left Gun Casemate and Left Cartridge Store'; (3) 'Plan Shewing Basement'; (4) top plan; (5,6) sections. Scale: plans: 1 inch to 20 feet; sections: 1 inch to 5 feet. Drawn by Lieutenant J F Lewis, Royal Engineers. Completed by Lance Corporal J Macfarlane, Royal Engineers. Initialled by Lieutenant R T [?Richard Thompson], Royal Engineers, 7 May 1878. Signed by Colonel Henry Wray, Commanding Royal Engineer, 16 May 1878. (7) Sections. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. (8) Outline plan, showing tanks, armaments, magazines, barracks. Reference table. Table of construction details. Compass star. (7, 8) Measured and drawn by Superintendent J Parkinson, Royal Engineers, 16 March and 16 April 1880. Signed by Murray, 10 June 1880. Dimensions: (1) 74 cm x 119 cm; (2-6) between 73 cm x 131 cm and 72 cm x 125 cm; (7) 73 cm x 120 cm; (8) 74 cm x 128 cm.
