Gibraltar. Three plans: (1) Part of Admiralty chart 1488, with manuscript title 'Gibraltar - North - North-West Elbow Battery - 2.4 Inch Q.F. [Quick Fire] Guns' and with coloured manuscript additions showing arcs of fire and dead water area. (2) 'Gibraltar. North Mole. North West Elbow Battery. 2-4 Inch Q/F [Quick Fire] Guns'. Plans of emplacement, permanent shelter, magazine and Royal Artillery store, with sections and photograph 1912. Reference table to construction details. Scale of emplacement and shelter plans: 1 inch to 10 feet; sections: 1 inch to 5 feet. Compass indicators. Drawn by Superintendent G A Kilby, Royal Engineers, 18 May 1912. Both signed by Captain P B O'Connor, Royal Engineers, 6 July 1912, and Lieutenant Colonel R P Lee, Commanding Royal Engineer, 8 July 1912. (3) Parts of two printed sheets, illustrating proposed provision of GGC's platform with bullet-proof cover at North Mole, Elbow Mole and South Mole Batteries.
