Gibraltar: Harding's Battery: 'Gibraltar. Record Plan of Harding's Battery. Emplacement for 1.12½ inch 38 Ton R.M.L. [Rifled Muzzle Loading] Gun'. Two sheets: (1) site plan, plans, sections and photograph, dated 1880. Measurements taken and drawn by Sergeant E Holden, Royal Engineers. Signed by Colonel C B Ewart, Commanding Royal Engineer, 19 November 1880. Corrected to 7 December 1881.(2) top plan and sections. Drawn by Lance Corporal A Rose, Royal Engineers, 1 February 1892. Reference table to construction details. Scale: site plan: 1:2,500; other plans: 1 inch to 10 feet; sections: 1 inch to 5 feet. Compass indicators. Both signed by Major E R Hussey, Royal Engineers, and Colonel J Fellowes, Royal Engineers, 31 May 1892. Dimensions: (1) 74 cm x 128 cm; (2) 74 cm x 131 cm.
