SEVERN DEFENCES Fourteen plans, sections, elevations, sectional elevations, charts, isometrical projections, etc. of the batteries in the Severn defence system; Lavernock Bty., Steep Holme Sty., Flat Holme Bty., Well Bty., Breakdown Bty., Laboratory Bty., Tombstone Bty., Split Rock Bty., Rudder Rock Bty., Summit Bty., Lighthouse Bty., Farm House Bty and Castle Rock Bty. Mostly coloured Ms. drawings of around 1883, but there is one plan (with a photocopy) dated 1941.
