Malta: Valletta. Admiralty chart 195. Manuscript title: 'Plan showing Telegraph Lines'. Chart shows stations, line laid and line to be laid. Corrected to 1860. Signed by Captain Mervin Drake, Royal Engineers, 20 February 1861. Illustrating letter of 22 February 1861 from Lieutenant Colonel R M Laffan, Commanding Royal Engineer. Pencilled note states that not all stations indicated were sanctioned.
